Viima Aerospace Technologies is developing resilient UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) manufacturing methods. Viima uniquely combines a modular UAV platform with distributed, crowdsourced manufacturing. This enables immediate production scale-up without major investments while maintaining Western independence. The platform covers 90% of defense UAV needs with standardized components, which can be produced locally for rapid iteration and crisis resilience.
ReLoc develops Positioning, Navigation, and Timing solutions resistant to GNSS jamming and spoofing. Using commercial off-the-shelf components (COTS), their solutions are easy to integrate, repair, and replace. With unique sensor fusion and machine learning algorithms, they ensure reliable positioning while offering real-time GNSS jamming and spoofing alert
Tespack specializes in advanced mobile energy solutions, focusing on smart modular micro-grids that deliver sustainable energy and robust internet connectivity to remote and underserved areas. Tespack’s solutions enhance operations for organizations like the UN, UNICEF, and Plan International, as well as providing lightweight tactical energy solutions for mobile military units.
Lowkey delivers secure, data-sovereign messaging solutions tailored for high-stakes industries, such as government, military, and finance. With advanced end-to-end encryption, data sovereignty, and AI-powered auditability, Lowkey ensures confidentiality, compliance, and seamless communication even in the most critical environments.
Monava offers smart monitoring through acoustic sensors. By leveraging unique technology to “see sound,” Monava enhances spatial awareness, particularly for drones. Their innovative sensor technology overcomes line-of-sight limitations and cost barriers, enabling automatic classification and localization of sound sources. Monava has already conducted paid pilot projects with airports and the defense industry.
RAIN is an AI-powered, real-time data platform for telecom tower companies and critical infrastructure. With RAIN, organizations can deploy AI-driven use cases, gain actionable insights, and optimize operations. The platform delivers significant cost savings, automated reporting, and customizable dashboards, all enhanced by domain-specific Generative AI.
Refamo specializes in advanced fatigue assessment technology for welded steel structures under dynamic loads. Their Predictive Maintenance solution combines Digital Twins and AI to shift from physical sensors to virtual-based monitoring. This enhances the safety and lifespan of military and civilian marine vessels, including container ships, cruise liners, and oil tankers.
Atle Defence develops next-generation anti-tank training solutions optimized for forested and arctic environments. Their technology is instantly deployable, offers video game-like user feedback, and ensures high accuracy even in challenging terrains.
Foxa specializes in advanced technical textiles for demanding applications, including military and government use. Their innovative solutions offer exceptional functionality, such as waterproofing, optimized camouflage patterns, and thermal signature management to reduce infrared detection. Foxa collaborates with the Finnish Defence Forces and Border Guard.
Sapper Intelligence develops smart sensor modules for the inspection and recognition of covered objects and structures. By focusing on AI-based sensor fusion and signal processing, Sapper enables the fast and safe detection of landmines and other threats. Their innovation is vital for protecting democracies, aiding post-war recovery, and rebuilding food security.
SeeTrue Technologies builds the world’s most robust eye-tracking sensors. These sensors integrate seamlessly into demanding environments, including AR, vision care, and optical microscopes. Their reliable eye-tracking solutions unlock new insights, deliver personalized solutions, and create significant societal impact.
Tambest Oy, based in Forssa, Finland, focuses on glass processing. Their product range includes electrically heated glass, ballistic glass, signal-proof glass, and curved glass. As a privately owned company, Tambest is dedicated to enhancing the value of glass through continuous product development.
